A 27-foot Robalo lost control and crashed into the dock at 15th Street Fisheries in Fort Lauderdale, Florida shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026, briefly disrupting dinner service at the popular waterfront restaurant. The vessel struck a docked 21-foot flats boat and a 21-foot Godfrey pontoon before injuring two people standing on the dock, both of whom suffered minor injuries. Video of the incident showed diners scattering as the twin-engine boat plowed through the moorage area.

Five Injured, Including Four Children, After Lake of the Ozarks Boat Strikes Submerged Log
A 1990 Wellcraft Scarab traveling north on Lake of the Ozarks struck a partially submerged log near Sunrise Beach in Camden County, Missouri at the 38.8-mile marker around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026. The 42-year-old driver and four juveniles from St. Joseph, Missouri — two 12-year-olds and two 13-year-olds — were all transported to Lake Regional Hospital with minor to moderate injuries. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, none of the five occupants was wearing a life jacket at the time of the collision.

Honolulu Fire Department Suspends Multi-Day Search for Missing Jet Ski Operator off Mokulēʻia
The Honolulu Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard suspended the search on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 for 56-year-old Anthony Empting, who has been missing since Saturday morning after departing Haleiwa Harbor on a personal watercraft. A fishing vessel discovered the unattended jet ski roughly a half mile off Mokulēʻia Beach in Waialua on Oahu's North Shore with the key still in the ignition and a life jacket and personal effects still on board. Search efforts had spanned land, air and sea from Kaʻena Point to Haleʻiwa, including underwater dives and aerial drones.
