On the afternoon of June 2, the 107.5-meter cargo vessel Prince Zafer suffered a generator failure on the Danube River off Tulcea, Romania, while sailing from Sulina to Giurgiulești to load grain. Container Barge Amira Catches Fire in Lock Near Rosmalen, Netherlands

On June 1, the self-propelled container barge Amira caught fire on the Máxima Canal while moored in the Hintham lock near Rosmalen, Netherlands, during a voyage from Tiel to Oss.
