75-Year-Old DeBary Man Drowns After Leg Becomes Entangled in Dock Rope
Jerry Capo, 75, of DeBary, Florida, drowned on the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026, after his left leg became wrapped in a rope used to secure a boat to a dock on Sher Lane in Volusia County. Deputies responded around 10:27 a.m. after his body was discovered in the water between two boats; his son had arrived on scene and reported they had been preparing to go boating together. US Military Strike on Alleged Drug Boat Kills 3 in Caribbean Sea
