Two Injured in Head-On Boat Collision on White Slough West of Lodi, California
Two boats collided in White Slough in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta west of Lodi at about 4:24 p.m. on Friday, September 4. Woodbridge Fire reported that one vessel travelling at high speed struck a fishing boat head-on near a bend at the north end of Empire Tract. All five people aboard the two boats reached shore before crews arrived; one person was taken by ambulance with minor injuries and another was flown by helicopter with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
