Coast Guard Rescues Two Men From Capsized Catamaran 11 Miles Off Haleiwa, Oahu

Boater Found Dead After Unmanned Vessel Discovered Sinking Near Crescent City, California
A boater was found dead on July 15 after deputies near Crescent City, California, responded around 11:20 a.m. to a report of an unmanned boat that was still under power but sinking. Responders found the approximately 10-foot gray aluminum vessel overturned with a life jacket floating nearby and requested U.S. Coast Guard assistance. After several hours of searching, the Coast Guard located the boat's owner, who had died.
